Live Wedding Caricatures
Your guests will remember the speeches, the first dance… and the caricatures.
I’m Adam, a professional live caricaturist, and I draw at weddings across the Isle of Wight and the south coast. Every drawing is done by hand, live, in front of your guests. There’s a crowd, there’s laughter, and everyone takes home a one-of-a-kind keepsake of your day.
Entertainment and wedding favours in one
Most wedding favours get left on the table. Caricatures don’t. Your guests are entertained while they’re drawn, they’ll be laughing at each other’s pictures, and they’ll take them home and keep them. That makes them one of the few wedding extras that does two jobs at once.
When in the day?
Caricatures fit perfectly into the moments where weddings can lull:
The drinks reception, while you’re away having your photos taken
Between the wedding breakfast and the evening, while the room is being turned around
The evening reception, for guests who aren’t on the dance floor yet
Most couples book me for around four hours, often covering the reception and into the evening.
How many guests can you draw?
I draw around one person every five or six minutes, and couples, families and groups are all welcome on one drawing. In four hours, that’s usually around 20–30 couples. Kids love it too, and I’m used to drawing the little ones (more than once!).
Prices
3 hours: £375
4 hours: £450
These prices are for Isle of Wight weddings. Mainland weddings are quoted with all ferry and travel costs included. See my areas for more. A £50 deposit secures your date, and the balance is due the week before your wedding. Your guests’ drawings are completely free; your booking covers everything.
Wedding extras
Make the caricatures part of the whole day:
Caricature of the two of you for your invitations, save the dates, table plan or thank-you cards
Welcome sign or guest book caricature for guests to sign on the day
Full colour framed caricature of the couple, a lovely gift from parents or the wedding party

Weddings across the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester, Bournemouth and the New Forest, from country houses and barns to seaside hotels and marquees.
What do I need on the day?
A small space for my easel and two chairs, good light, and parking nearby. Indoors or out, I’ll fit in with your venue and timings, and I’ll liaise with your venue coordinator if needed.

How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Summer Saturdays are booked up months in advance, often more than a year ahead. If your date is closer, still get in touch, because I can sometimes fit in short-notice bookings.
